Absolutely! The shift from my Treo to the BB was a big jump. And after a
year or so on the BB, shifting to WebOS was another, albeit quicker, shift.
Not that I've mastered everything. Heck, until, what yesterday, I hadn't
even noticed that the little calendar icon showed today's date!!

I was worried that going back to the Pre after a couple of days
experimenting with the Pre Plus would make me like the original Pre less.
Didn't happen - I love this thing!! 1.4'd better be good, though . . .
Video, Audio recording; video/photo manipulation. Performance improvements
out the wazoo (is that how you spell that?). There's diminishing excuse for
the laggyness (is that a word?) of basic things like scrolling through
launcher pages. I give them a year to add in more configurability (I guess
that's a word) of things like alert sounds and alerts.

But they *do* keep releasing improvements - like Christmas several times per
year!

:-)

Cheers,

Don

I intended to include that thought in one of my notes. The more I use
it, the more I love it. And I'm especially enamored of upgradable OS and
patches. I had WinMob 6.1 and couldn't have 6.5, as wonderful as it
reportedly was, without buying another device. One of the things that
attracted me to the Pre was its designed-in upgradeability. (How's that
for a word?)
And as I get used to the design philosophy, I'm discovering ways
it's intuitive that WinMob never was. Just takes that mental shift. Went
through the same thing jumping from PalmOS to WinMob, except I have to
admit WinMob to WebOS has been easier.
