Depending on the state, at least one party must consent. In Pa. it takes
both parties' consent.
All which goes out the window if you're the federal Justice Dept.
News item Friday said DoJ has appealed a lower court decision that
refused to allow Justice access to personal phone records without a warrant.
But for those of us who take the Constitution seriously, you are
exactly correct. Still, making the capability available does not give
Palm responsibility for a user's illegal actions. Anyway, all the Treos
had the capability to record notes, and I think in the PalmOS days there
was an app that allowed recording phone conversations.
