Yes, My EVO actually has a Widget that looks like an airplane and it turns
off the wireless transmitters. 

 

>From there you can manually turn on stuff like blue tooth, wifi or what
ever. 

 

I rarely fly so I have not used it but its there in case you need it.

Do you know if android phones have most off line in airplane mode like the
Pre?

Its a big feature for me having things off-line and why i am sticking 
with the Palm TX
for now.
