I did an upgrade from 7 to 8. I did the upgrade from the console command,  
because the update-manager was having some trouble displaying the text in the  
box listing the packages. Now I am on 8 and it won't upgrade to libdvdnav4  
from version 4.2.1-3. According to synaptic it has to remove gnome-mplayer,  
mplayer2, and trisquel-mini-recommended to install libdvdnav4.

You might want to change the forums' attach method: "The selected file  
apt.log could not be uploaded. Only files with the following extensions are  
allowed: jpg jpeg gif png txt doc xls pdf ppt pps odt ods odp iso torrent deb  
gz bz2 diff tar patch xz sh."
