Hi Leon,
You could also try counting backwards from 100 to 1 to help fall
asleep.
If you lose track of counting , go back to 100 and start again.
I use that when I have the problem and it seems to help.
I think I heard on one of these FZ comm lines another way of
inducing sleep.
I remember saying to myself : Boy that sounds like a good idea.
But I forgot what it was.
It could of even been thought up by Hubbard. I only vaguely remember.
But anyway try the reverse counting method.
Maybe some one else remembers it.
Also warm milk helps. add honey and a tsp of butter.
That should make the body recall breast feeding.
Do a search on the net for natural sleep inducers.
Google : How to fall asleep.
Or
natural sleep aids,
Or;
How to fall asleep tricks.
I was told Melatonin also helps.
I think warm milk contains melatonin.
Or is tryptophan?
Anyway you will find anything you need on the net.
Let us know what you find out and what works.
Did Hubbard have any data on cause of insomnia and what to do about
it?

Hi Leo
As a long term insomniac (not anymore) here are some tips, some
which you may know.
Turn off the TV if you watch it, listen to some relaxing music
instead, many radio stations play relaxing pop or whatever music
later on in the evening.
Lower the lights put a table lamp on in the corner of the room.
Don't drink any stimulants, I have a few drinks of hot chocolate,
Honey is helpful to induce sleep.
Lockscan out the day, start with the first thing you can remember
when you got up and quickly go over as many events that happened to
you in that day.
Do not fix on anything for a long time unless you feel there is
heavy charge there, it should be done rapidly.
Do this over and over, more and more items will show up this
releases charge that has been restimulated, your attention will then
come off the mind and you should feel a lot more peaceful, this
should be done every evening.
Visualisation, visualise happy times, future creations, try not to
use words, get above mind symbols, just visualise.
Affirmations, repeat over and over different types of positive
affirmations which may lead into pure visual positive creations.
Get an AVS device, Mindlab or Mindspa, these devices feed visual and
audio signals into the brain.
The brain works at various frequencies, Alpha, Beta, Theta, Delta,
delta is deep sleep, they do work, I know they do.
Best
Mike

Hi Trommers
Since about two months I am suffering from sleeplessness.
It seems that I was overwhelmed by heavy noises in the night that
kept me from sleeping.
I tried so many things now to recover and also had some successes
from time to time but last night it just didn't work again.
Actually I am on Level Two (thought once I would be on Three), but
stopped due to body troubles.
During the last two month I did a lot of RI and also some comparing
on Level Two when ever I thought I would be in good enough shape. I
had some quite spectacular successes and cognitions.
I also take some tranquilizers which do help and when I cannot sleep
at all some hypnotics. And of course so many vitamins and all the
"natural" stuff.
Any workable suggestions?
Thanks a lot
Leo
