When (in about 1970, rather late) full scale attempts started being
made to translate Scientology materials into other languages than
English, Ron Hubbard, who had a tendency to step into an area, issue
an edict, then goes his way leaving people to find out as best they
could how to "do what Ron said", issued the following translation policy:

Scientology words were not to be translated. Thus, for example, Case
Supervisor remained Case Supervisor, Withhold remained withhold, ARC
remained ARC, Service Fac remained Service Fac, etc. etc. It seemed
to me a good policy, though there was a sort of grey border line as
to whether some words were or were not "Scientology Technical Terms".

Good Tromming,

Ant
