Hi Ludo,
I'm glad to see that you also have discovered the capability of
meditation. I have been on this for several years now and had
started before I even knew anything about TROM.
TROM is a very good procedure for what it is capable of doing,
resolving one's mind. The 'mind' does get in the way of meditation
and for that matter, it also gets in the way of OBE, (Out of Body
Experience). I see meditation and then OBE as upper level work to
take one from beyond the mind and into the spiritual, from the pure
physical to the non-physical and then to understanding of the
physical and non-physical and the relationship of the two.
One cannot truly experience and learn from the spiritual/non-physical
universe until one has eliminated the constraints, controls and
aberrations of the 'mind'.
Meditation and OBE are natural to one's continuation of knowledge and
understanding once one has completed Level 5 and TROM. It is not
necessary to have completed TROM before one can reap the gains of
meditation. I believe it is a necessity before one can OBE
advantageously.

Hi Alberto, thanks for the confirmation. Life is bliss. All is well.
I want to add that I've been living and breathing the method of
self inquiry and meditation from the morning till the evening for
the past 4 months and it is very powerful. For those of you who
might be interested there's plenty of material freely available on
the internet in pdf form and also youtube video's. Check for Lester
Levenson, Robert Adams, Ramana Maharshi, Mooji. It's a very ancient
Vedic practice and these guys knew what they were talking about.
I've also discovered the power of listening to mantra's such as om,
om mani padme om and others. The repetitive character and the
vibrations of the music really fill the emptiness in you with
compassion for yourself and life in general. There's a few on
youtube that are really working well for me.
And finally - and some of you may think this doesn't make any sense
at all, and it doesn't, but it works - there is a mountain in
India, where Ramana Maharshi lived, called Arunachala, and the
Vedic scriptures say that if you look at this mountain you will
find Self realization. And I have found that looking at it gives
you peace and starts to desintegrate your mind. I know it sounds
like total nonsense, but it isn't.
There's pictures of it on Ramana's site.
These are all really helpful for identifying with the Self instead
of the mind. So I thought it might be of help to some of you.
Wish you all the best. Love, Ludo.
