Hi Ludo,

I have immense compassion for all of those that I come in contact with as well as a compassion in a general context and sense for the collective general beings. Yes, I do feel the compassion. It is quite deep and strong. I feel it as an outflow, very slightly as an inflow.

Hi Ludo,

Again you are correct. I have gotten to that point where I, through my own experience realized that the starting point is/was that nothingness. It is the point that I go towards and then to when I meditate.

Not until now has someone voiced the same consideration that I have. I also had not as thoroughly described that state to my self in the terms you have put it in. Great to have another's knowledge and understanding of an experienced understanding and truth.

Hi Paul, good to hear from you.

I want to bring to your attention that OBE, astral body, causal body and any universe or experience therein, are all phenomena in the mind. Your true Self is a state of no phenomena. Beyond the mind means also beyond OBE, spiritual or other universe, beyond any conceivable phenomenon.

Your true Self is the nothing that doesn't exist, but creates all existence. Closest to it is the deep peace of motionless, timeless emptiness. This is the deepest, eternal satisfaction. From there it goes down into games, phenomena, universes that are never totally satisfactory, unless and untill the deep peace, the emptiness is rediscovered, after which it doesn't matter whether simultanuously the universes and games are there or not.

Love, Ludo.

Hi Ludo,

I'm glad to see that you also have discovered the capability of meditation. I have been on this for several years now and had started before I even knew anything about TROM.

TROM is a very good procedure for what it is capable of doing, resolving one's mind. The 'mind' does get in the way of meditation and for that matter, it also gets in the way of OBE, (Out of Body Experience). I see meditation and then OBE as upper level work to take one from beyond the mind and into the spiritual, from the pure physical to the non-physical and then to understanding of the physical and non-physical and the relationship of the two.

One cannot truly experience and learn from the spiritual/non- physical universe until one has eliminated the constraints, controls and aberrations of the 'mind'.

Meditation and OBE are natural to one's continuation of knowledge and understanding once one has completed Level 5 and TROM. It is not necessary to have completed TROM before one can reap the gains of meditation. I believe it is a necessity before one can OBE advantageously.

Hi Alberto, thanks for the confirmation. Life is bliss. All is well.

I want to add that I've been living and breathing the method of self inquiry and meditation from the morning till the evening for the past 4 months and it is very powerful. For those of you who might be interested there's plenty of material freely available on the internet in pdf form and also youtube video's. Check for Lester Levenson, Robert Adams, Ramana Maharshi, Mooji. It's a very ancient Vedic practice and these guys knew what they were talking about.

I've also discovered the power of listening to mantra's such as om, om mani padme om and others. The repetitive character and the vibrations of the music really fill the emptiness in you with compassion for yourself and life in general. There's a few on youtube that are really working well for me.

And finally - and some of you may think this doesn't make any sense at all, and it doesn't, but it works - there is a mountain in India, where Ramana Maharshi lived, called Arunachala, and the Vedic scriptures say that if you look at this mountain you will find Self realization. And I have found that looking at it gives you peace and starts to desintegrate your mind. I know it sounds like total nonsense, but it isn't.
There's pictures of it on Ramana's site.

These are all really helpful for identifying with the Self instead of the mind. So I thought it might be of help to some of you.

Wish you all the best. Love, Ludo.
