If this is correct why does Peter write in 1 Peter 1:12 “Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.” These angels have never sinned and to them it is marvellous that the Holy Spirit preached from heaven can transform sinful men. We cannot equate them with men even though referred to in different places as the Sons of God. In any case angels whether good or bad are immortal as they cannot die. I believe in God’s plan of the ages there will be a place for angels who have sinned, but I cannot verify this from Scripture.
