Michael D:  FTR, The law of Moses is associated with bondage not liberty.

EXO 20:2    I [am] the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of
Egypt, out of the house of bondage.  [followed by the ten commandments]

Did God lie to the children of Israel?

Did He really bring them under bondage, but tell them that He brought them out from bondage?

Michael D:
Did Paul lie when he said that the law brings men into bondage?

Did he lie when he said to cast out the bond woman and her son???

Did Peter lie when he said that the law of Moses was a yoke which no one could bear?

Did Paul lie when he said to stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, and not to get entangled again with the yoke of bondage? Gal 5:1.

Did Paul lie when he said that the law is the strength of sin? I Cor 15:56

Did Paul lie when he said that the law was given Till the seed should come to whom the promise was made? And when he said we are no longer under a schoolmaster (Which was the law) ?

John said it well ...The law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. He is the truth that makes us free!!!

Did Paul lie when he said that we are now dead to the law?

Marlin H and Co., you must rightly divide the word of truth. Paul definitely believed the law as the word of God, but he said it is only good if a man use it lawfully. I Tim 1: 7-11.

He said those who teach the law for righteousness understand neither what they say nor what they affirm. The same that the Jerusalem council concluded.

Paul asserts that righteousness is from faith to faith Rom 1:17 not from faith to law!!!  As it is written the just shall live by faith!!!

Listen to Paul... Gal 3:19.  Wherefore then serveth the law, it was added because of transgressions till the seed should come to whom the promise was made... 24.  Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ that we might be justified by faith.  25.  But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

PSA 119:45  And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.

Was David praising God for His law, or cursing God?
