Do you therefore think that Paul is calling God a liar?   Michael D: Come again Marlin... I need you to explain what you mean here, if you will.   You seem to think that these writings of Paul do away with God's law.  I do not.    Those who reject God's law may read things into some of the writings of Paul, especially if certain passages are subtracted from the rest of scripture.  Peter warned of those who wrest the scriptures in this way.    Paul's accusers also claimed that Paul was teaching against God's law.  Paul went to great lengths to show the opposite.   I for one use addition to understand the whole of the Word of God, not subtraction.   --Marlin
