DAVEH: That is exactly why I am on TT. As I've told you (TTers) before AND above, I
have a very (LDS) biased view of Protestantism. I told you what I have been led to
believe so that you can offer a contrasting opinion.

DAVEH: I find that very interesting. As I said before, I had believed the situation
to be exactly the opposite.

DAVEH: I wasn't around back then, but I distinctly remember hearing it right here on
TT when I first joined it. As I remember it.....At the time, you corrected the person
who thought such.

Let me quote one of the exchanges......

If you have "no problem" with his definition of Jesus/God being two separate

Congratulations: you are but a short step away from becoming a

Yes, we do have to "be careful in thinking of Jesus/God as two separate
entities."

.......When I hear such comments on TT, I am led to wonder where they came up with
that thinking IF they did not get it from Protestant dogma. Furthermore, I had heard
similar sentiments outside TT, so I don't think this is an isolated belief, DavidM.
However, I do not know much about the evolution of Protestant beliefs in the past
couple hundred years. I've assumed that what was taught then, is (in this case)
commonly believed now.

I would be curious to know if most all TTers agree with the separate entities
belief. At this point.....few may want to offer their opinions. I'll ask some
Christians I know how they believe and report back.
