I think Lance's point deserves more consideration than you are giving it. Consider the tower of Babel as an example of how language can divide people. Wars all over the world are fought partly because of division caused by language. You must recognize that you have many compelling reasons to work harder with communicating with your grandson. What happens when there are strangers who cannot communicate? What happens when people speak the same language, but they understand words differently. I think there is much truth in the knowledge that misunderstandings are a major cause of division and conflict in the world. We ought to recognize the inadequacy of language to communicate as being a major obstacle for unity. This does not deny the need for the Holy Spirit. Rather, it affirms the need for the Holy Spirit to help us overcome the difficulties caused by this weakness. Peace be with you.
