Guys, can I interject? We are to deny self -- we are to throw off the lustful shackles of the world. We are to dance and rejoice in YHVH. A Wedding is a celebration of upcoming life! We are to rejoice for the new husband and wife because we know what *JOY* they will be receive in their newfound marital bliss!!   I do not see how the NT tells us to be ascetic. This concept is foreign to me.
