He of many signatures appears to agree, somewhat with the benighted Terry. I'm not addressing 'legality' gentlemen. God looks, not on the prevailing law but, on the heart. Do you really want to make a distinction between the two? America was, in reality, no better when such things were designated as criminal behavior.
Weeeeeellllllll, I'm not actually saying that things were better back then -- I was just confirming the observation that homosexuality and abortion were regarded very differently than they are today. Bigotry was at an all time high back then -- a terrible terrible vise. There was no openness in regard to matter of faith. Most denominations -- including those of the high church -- were established in an effort to promote and preserve their unique doctrinal contributions. Out here in Calefornia, we never prayed in school but we did pledge to the flag, something that is not done in most schools today. We ate fish on Fridays out of respect for those who apparently preferred eating fish on Fridays. The Thursday pizza crowd was completely ignored. Sad but true.
I do believe that God looks to the heart and gives greater preference to those issues (issues of the heart).
