JUDY : Is the above scenario written with the idea that what Cliff calls faith is in actuality 'mental assent only?'

SLADE: Now that's a question, isn't it? And that's the point of the Midrash.

JUDY: (slade): What does the man do?  (Judy) He looks for a doorpoint ie the opening/sin in his life that the enemy used to get a foothold.

SLADE: WRONG WRONG WRONG!!! Think "Blind man... who sinned, he or parents... no one.... for God's glory..."

JUDY: Mental assent crumbles when tested and there is no glory in 'tempting God' - If Cliff has himself out on a limb it is one of his own making.

SLADE: Exactly my point.

JUDY: God also knowingly allowed Adam to be tested and he failed ....

SLADE: And the same goes for Samson, Eli, Slade...., Judy.........
