Subject: Re: [TruthTalk] Eternal Judgment

Are there no religious hypocrites in our Christian churches, dear Izzy? Bill is not saying all who repented and turned to Christ are hypocrites but definitely some are. And of course, they don't know it or otherwise they would...repent. By their fruit ye shall know them.

And how are we to know, Lord? What fruits are you looking for? Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Unity. Humility.

Love,

Caroline

Unity is not a fruit of the Spirit.  It is often the fruit of compromise with evil.  Hypocrites are those who pretend to know the truth but teach error—exchanging the clear commandments of God (which they refuse to accept) for a man-invented system that circumvents it.  Rebellion is what damns us.  God says we must repent and follow Jesus as Lord.  Those who say in their hearts, “That’s not fair—I will not accept that as truth,” go seeking another way.  Satan has dozens of them.  Izzy
