If I am wrong JD you have an obligation to explain to
me how and why in the balance and context of God's
Word rather than continually expound on some "larger context" that makes no
sense at all to anyone who has spent any time in the
scriptures or given them more than a surface perusal.. When you speak of
being "in love" with Christ - to me it sounds very California - very
Hollywood. When ppl marry those they don't really know they are in for a
rude awakening at some point not far down the road. With Christ we don't
have that option, the virgins with no oil in their lamps don't get to go to the
marriage supper (and please don't tell me that this is only written for Jewish
virgins since there is just one marriage supper) judyt

I don't see Jesus leaving any admonition about history, culture, and Word Studies in order to understand the meaning
of His Word. He sent the Holy Spirit to give us understanding. Are you ever wrong about biblical ocnsiderations? Have you ever changed you mind about biblical meaning since you have received this spirit of enlightenment?
