As to my perception of you, David, I agree with your last paragraph.
However, having allowed for the absence of intent when misinterpreting or
misapplying Scripture yet are you one of these.

I know I will be called arrogant again for saying this, but I see myself

an exception to this. Go ahead and fire away at me. I firmly believe
that
we should approach Scripture respectfully, seeking to understand its
meaning. I approach Scripture this way. I do not twist Scripture to fit
what I want it to mean. I read Scripture and quote Scripture with the
intent to hear what it has to say to us.
