no, if you have a look at the documentation around swap, if there is  
more then one swap partition, the kernel will "round-robin" them  
anyways. so why?

depending on the hardware, do you have a drive controller that will  
recognize a drive if there hasn't been on on boot? some SATA / IDE  
chipsets do that if you rmmod/insmod the driver, but this only works  
for the complete controller, not for individual ports.
