Hi,
Would it be possible to re-import the TDK, I've made all
the changes, and the directory structure is a bit
different. There's a simple example, but it works, and
I've also created a WAR file with everything in it that
people can just drop in place and run.
Later on tonight I'm going to integrate torque, make
Hypersonic the default DB, and start adding a self
describing application. The little app will have
links to all tutorial type info, the turbine docs,
the servlet API and anything else that might be
useful for getting started.
If anyone has ever seen the install for Resin
(another servlet container) you'll see where
I'm heading. Resin just installed and boom, you
have access to everything you need to know
about making a webapp. All the reference material
required to understand all the technologies,
tons of great examples, and a little source
viewer. I thought it was great.
I'm going to grab a little syntax highlighting
source viewer from Jive, an Apache license discussion
board and use it for showing the examples.
Can I give someone (Jon) the resultant tgz/zip files
for the TDK, and the WAR file. Or can I get
access to, say, java.apache.org/turbine/tdk so I
can pop updates in there?
