In case you haven't come across it yet, there is an example on the
JFreeChart forums about rendering images directly to a browser using
JFreeChart. To display the image along with other html content, you will
have to write the chart image out to a file and link to it in your html
page from there. You can find a good (and once again free) jpeg encoder
at http://www.obrador.com/essentialjpeg/jpeg.htm (no source though).
