Not quite.  I would really like to address the high priority tickets
that are assigned to me [1] before asking people to test their apps
with it.  At the rate I've been going, that should be 1 or 2 weeks
away.  Could be quicker if I just bite the bullet & put check_app_root
back, but that code is ugly & I'm holding out for something more
elegant.

Sounds good to me!  There's a few minor tickets with patches that I
want to apply [2], but I'll get that done today.

I'm tempted to apply the CatWalk patches as well.   Any complaints?
They are 349, 589, and 701.

Thanks, it's been a pleasure to be a part of such a fantastic team.
When you guys offered me the commit bit you were taking a chance -- I
hadn't done much more than make some assertions that these things were
within reach & shown some ugly code at that point.  I'm glad you feel
it's worked out.
