I don’t know, something called “just a little respect” for somebody
who dedicated their life to your career and basically got you the gig.
And in the process maybe sharing some of the blame for the damage she
did along the way. But then, of course, Jay is just a naive innocent
who didn’t know how he got the job. But he sure knew how to hold on to
it.
