That would be my guess. However, it would almost be admitting that the older demos that are making up the network daytime audience more and more are the only ones intersted in brand when it comes to vacuums (I suspect that most people just buy what's on sale at Walmart or Target). Someone's made a very good point--most of the Internet complaints made by younger people are built around how they watched "AMC" and "OLTL" with their mother or grandparents who aren't around any more--they don't talk about watching it *today,* when even if they don't set it on their DVR ABC/Disney has a channel (until the end of the year) that gives them the opportunity to watch ABC and Sony's daytime soaps every day at other hours. When it comes to the money demo, it's more nostalgia than anything else. And if there is people in the money demo home during the day, they're more likely to be male and watching Springer, the court shows and "Cheaters" on the Fox and mini-net stations. -- TV or Not TV ....
