CTV started with the 2010 games. Since I don't watch the coverage on NBC, I'm not sure what you mean. Their coverage didn't seem much different from CBC's in past games. Lots of actual sports mixed with some human interest. The nice thing about the CTV coverage was that if a particular event wasn't on CTV, I was bound to find it on TSN, or OLN, or Omni, since CTV spread the coverage out to broadcasters they didn't even own.
