My parents moved from the Midwest to California shortly after this brochure came out. Both worked as teachers, but because my dad is an ass, he made them live in Riverside where he worked even though my mom worked in LA near the colosseum. Today, with all the freeways in place, the commute would be a nightmare. Back then, it was worse.. so bad that my mom actually appeared in the LA Times as (exact quote from the headline) "The World's Most Drivingest Teacher."
