There may be an out-of-pocket expense cap kicking in, but dad won't believe it till the insurer's statements say so. The latest ones from the center still expect him to pay certain fees well in advance. He's pestering mom to agree to let him get her out, whether the orthopaedist wants it or not.
I can't be really thrilled about her coming home, as I fear she'll just go back to the same relative inactivity that led to her injury in the first place. And, I don't know what dad might do if she won't agree to home care. Meanwhile, there's been an Alzheimer's patient who confuses me with someone in his family who (he thinks) promised him things damned if I can provide.
