This is the third go-round for "Annie," and as much as the first one 
screwed it up, this one promises to make that one look like "Singin' in the 
Rain." (The second one -- the TV one -- was okay; it was just low-budget 
and kinda dull).

I used to share PGage's feelings about "Annie" until I did the show 
(tripled as Bundles the laundryman, Jimmy Johnson (the Masked Announcer), 
and FDR), and then I realized how brilliantly constructed and written it 
is. It's not one of my favorites, but I have great respect for it. There 
are far worse musicals (one of which was just on NBC last week).
