When I saw Colbert in April the audience was reminded to cheer when the spot came for the 30-second segment. They called it a sweep something, but I don't remember the exact phrase.
Did they pick up that extra 30 seconds when they cut the heck out of the opening animation? I was a bit miffed when even the Paul Shaffer interview was rushed in order to get the musical performance in. I'm no Vinny Favale, but I would have bumped the middle guest to another night to make more room for Paul. They obviously weren't going to give up Kirsten Dunst. -Stan -- -- TV or Not TV ....
