Hi Phil, We looked at this a while ago and asked the question. The response is to "use the clients licence to access the knowledgebase". We provide support for a number of u2 sites but cannot get any direct access. This tends to make it difficult for call logging etc. however to give IBM their due, there has been a good response once we have managed to connect.
It can be very frustrating to get to the point of logging a call only to be told the issue has been documented on the knowledgebase. Try asking directly through the IBM office in NZ, maybe with enough noise, IBM may look at granting access to these "secrets". Good luck with any attempt you may make. 8-) Regards David Logan -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of phil walker Sent: Thursday, 26 January 2006 3:16 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [U2] Knowledgebase access Has anyone heard, if and when people who do not have their maintenance directly with IBM will have access to the U2 knowledgebase? Does anyone else find it utterly frustrating that you cannot see articles in their pertaining to U2, such as how-tos etc? It does not do any favours when looking at development new applications when you can get so much more help etc on the internet for other products...
