We here have yearly UniVerse support with Rocket. The cost is modest. We are using HP-Ux. The Rocket support gets us the database upgrades and once or twice we have had database upgrade issues that Rocket handled rather well.
If we were to drop support... last time that I checked... it was twice the price to get back on. For us here, our Rocket support is something of an insurance policy.
