To avoid further misunderstandings: When I click some button that I want to syncronize my clock via NTP, then I (indirectly) authorize that a connection to a remote host is made. When I agree to take part in that package popularity contest, then I authorize that I transfer data across the internet. And when I configure firefox to protect me from phishing and website forgery then I am supposed to guess, that it must somehow get its blacklists from somewhere.
But I never took this concious decision. -- unauthorized connection to Google https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/500601 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
