Since you are neither maintaining firefox nor are you a core developer your whole contribution within this bug report is only adding noise. It makes it harder for all people to stay focused on the problem which I am addressing here.
And on a level of factual statement your points are simply false. To disrespect a certain legal situation regarding personal rights or privacy does not necessarily mean that a criminal action or something illegal takes place. And this is no word game. You try to raise a problem with my wording that simply said "[it] also feels a bit like a legal problem" in combination with a question, regarding an older dispute between the Mozilla foundation and the Linux community. You can take offense to that as much as you like, but please refrain from putting that in the main focus. And for all the rest you can use [email protected] to make your humble opinion visible to an audience. How serious the problem is that I am reporting here is not up for community vote. Only people in certain teams within the Ubuntu community decide on such matters. And only these should comment on this bug report. -- unauthorized connection to Google https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/500601 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
