Belinda, you seem to have a good point. If anyone is keen to try out "Ubuntu for Accounting" I would be keen to collaborate. PS: We are seriously preparing for such an effort in Singapore. We have identified a PC distributor in Singapore's Sim Lim Square (the Hub for APAC IT distribution) where we would be providing over-the-counter demo from December 2007 of our Accounting Software (which is Free for 2 users and hence Free for bundling) loaded on Ubuntu 7.10. If that goes well we would like to spread out the initiative to India and other ASEAN countries. > > I'd add my name/dollars to any effort; especially since Kristian has > a pretty good record with his guerilla marketing techniques. ;-) > I may be keen to take a lesson or two from Kristian about Guerrilla Marketing :-) Later, I also wish to open a new thread on this list to discuss about how Ubuntu (or any Pro-choice OS) can be brought into mainstream adoption as Mark rightly points out in Bug #1 Rajesh > good luck, > > Belinda > > -- -- ubuntu-marketing mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-marketing
