I think it is a great idea! When I translated Amarok (upstream) I opened Amarok in my language and marked the untranslated strings in Amarok. Then I searched for them in the po file and translated them. Many strings were impossible to translate right without the context, as different languages as different ways to the same thing.
I am all for it, and I am willing to help updating the screenshots.
