Hi, I am brand new to ubuntu and have installed it on my desktop with
no problems. I want to install it on an older Dell Laptop that has
256RAM, when I try to load it, it says that I only have 253 (I assume
some may be corrupt or something). The program will not load up, it
does not give me the welcome screen (language, etc) at the beginning
and it hangs up after about five minutes of the CD ROM working. If I
upgrade the RAM in this laptop, should ubuntu work? Thanks
