So the “Federalism” antidote critical thinkers have used for all Uganda
atrocities has now reached a point of the one they are building in Uganda is
not the one in Nigeria and not the one in Canada. Well can you give us a
country with a federal system you are trying to build in Uganda that will stop
an Acholi man whacking his wife to death. For to some of us we can actually
live with Museveni the next 50 years as long as Acholi do no throw their own
babies into burning huts to death. We have discussed Uganda politics based in
Kampala, on Bank of Uganda and Uganda parliament building too long. It is time
we discuss what is happening in Barlonyo for it is very possible it is what
creates what is in Kampala. Just critical thinking some of us were just born
with. The son of man is stuck between removing Museveni a dictator through
turning Uganda into a federal state, thus empowering Ssabassajja Mutebi an
already known tyrant.

Go figure that one out for me !!!!!!

Ndugu Ocen,

We don't want federalism of a Nigeria or South Sudan type. These are
federalisms in name, not in reality. It is no wonder that Nigeria has had
coups, counter coups and political turmoil over years. There is corruption in
Nigeria, because the federal state wields more power than the states. People
like Ummar Diko and Sani Abacha fleeced off large amounts of money, because if
their positions in a central like role. Looking at South Sudan, one sees a so
called federal state, where one man is intent on keeping power to himself, and
fighting off potential competitors.

Federalism comes in different forms, Nigeria type is no different from
centralised governments.

Can you please tell me how Federalism did away with that kind of grand
corruption?

How much has corruption cost Uganda? If federalism can do away with corruption
and corruptibility then that alone will pay for the change and leave a lot of
extra money!

Billions lost in ghost soldiers and other workers.

Billions lost in pension scams.

Billions lost in unneeded military hardware.

Need more billions lost to ponder about?

Do you have any idea how much it will cost the Country to change to a

thought about it in financial terms.

and show how regions will benefit and red tapes h is going to do away with.if
he can shoe specifically in these areas like HEALTH, EDUCATION AND

KATEREGGA, Im happy to know that you are now on board. you have realised that
the unitary monster is taking us nowhere.you have been an advocate of regional
tier which is very difficult to implement and still keeps power at the centre.

Ugandans,

To most, Mbabazi is a tear away from the old "gang" who have failed to deliver
promises and instead exploited Ugandans for their own gains. His recent
declaration is but a gimmick, which should be ignored. In his declaration he
talked of a change in "system of government" without elucidating as to what
that system would be. It is clear he has no idea what he is talking about and
how it would be delivered. Like his rival, they have no clue as to what is good
for Ugandans and simply carried on from their predecessors, with the same
results.

Mbabazi would never be a first choice for Ugandans but in the current state
anything but Museveni would do! Mbabazi needs to re invent himself by
apologising for the exploitation of Ugandans for the last thirty years and
counting and then embrace federalism by acknowledging that the system is broken
and must be damped. This will provide Ugandans with a viable alternative. Other
than, he and his nemesis are birds of the same feather albeit the sound of
Mbabazi's drivel, disregard the substance; is more easy to the ear than the
alternative. Mbabazi has also got to drop his arrogance. With the assertion
that "Ugandans do not know what they" one is reminded of the arrogance with
which they managed to divide people and how the gullible swallowed it "hook,
line and sinker" while singing praises way after the drummer had stopped.

For his sin, Mbabazi, with a working microphone in his hands and still alive,
must start singing the federal message because it is the message that Ugandans
want hear or else, he should follow the rest to the dustbin of history.
