Kerry, I'm the guy who called and glad it worked out. The one advantage I had heard about my cummins is that they will auto prime if you run dry. I proved that once, at night no less on Lake Washington, when I ran a tank dry. All I had to do was open a full tank and grind the starter for about 15 sec and it worked.
I am saving the previous post however just it case I need it someday. On my generator for example.
