Assuming he has 671's tell him to hand fill his primary and secondary
filters, a must. After he does that, take the fuel line of the fuel filter
that goes to the head (the filter on the engine) ( I believe it is the line
on the right side of the filter housing. Take a paper coffee cup with fuel
in it and fill the fuel line, it will take 2-4 tablespoons of fuel. Put the
line back on the filter housing and crank the engine for 4-8 seconds. If it
does not start, repeat the procedure. It may take up to 4 or 5 times and the
engine will start.

You mean the salesman didn't tell the truth? I have twin VT555 Cummins
"triple nickles" and did get them to restart pretty quickly. Sounds
like I was lucky. I think I will go look for the priming
pump............
