I love you and your values. I know you better than you think. I've been where
you are more than once. More than twice. I have thrown lots and lots of good
hard earned money after a problem, only to never realize the benefit. I thought
my answer was constructive, and in a year, you will agree with me. I hate
myself for this, but I am telling you the truth.

It is a buyers market...take the money you will spend and buy a better boat.
Great boats are a dime a dozen right now.

Enjoy your family...forget rewiring the flybridge. If you prove me wrong, God
Bless you and your family. I hope you do.

No offense, but is that supposed to be a constructive answer?  My boat needs
work.  I know it does, but I love it.  It fits our family and our boating style
perfectly.  I have no intention of scrapping it.  I see this as a long term
“investment” in our family’s summer fun.  When I pull into a marina, having a
Uniflite always is a conversation starter with at least one seasoned Northwest
Boater and I enjoy those conversations.  If you didn’t have experience with a
good electrician you could have just left it at that.  Thanks for that
extremely positive advice.  I came to terms with boating being expensive years
ago.

Hey All,

One of the things I want to get done before spring is a rewire of my
flybridge.  It is a wiring nightmare.  I had it all re-gelcoated and need to
replace the gauges and pull out all the old wiring that goes absolutely
nowhere.  I would do it myself but I have no idea where to start on that rats
nest.  Anyone have suggestions?

Thanks,

Kerry
