I have the same on my 42, but I have the valves from all tanks open so all fuel goes to the center tank from which the engines are fed. So the center tank, which is indeed "wedged underneath pretty good" is always full until I am on my last 100 gallons. Anyway, I don't have the answer for you and I am waiting to see the answers you receive. My vent is not blocked, in fact there is no filler for that tank -- it just fills from the saddle tanks. However, I was just doing some wiring behind the electrical distribution panel and noticed that if I removed a vertical panel (covered with wires) behind the distribution panel, I could reach the center tank's vent where it is attached to the hull. It would be an unpleasant job and I would have to have all electricity off (ALL, as in AC and DC) and it would be quite a mess. I would be more likely to clean it out from the outside. That would leave what ever debris that was pushed through in the tank -- that doesn't sound good. DavidO

I think that my center tank has a blocked breather line. Every single time I fill that tank, it boils over, no matter how slow I pump. I always have towels at the ready for it. Is there any easy way to clear out that breather line or do I have to figure out a way to detach is from the tank and the hull and blow it out with an air hose? The tank is wedged underneath pretty good so it is going to be a major chore to pull that breather line. I'm just looking for options.
