My generator however was the original 1973 Onan MDJE. I have nursed my generator for years but it just had a major and I am sure final problem somewhere in the generating unit. I now have to replace it. It was a 7KW but I have never used more than 4000 watts at any time and it is mounted forward of the port main engine. Any experience with removal and replacement out there?
