Terrific comment. I have been thinking a 5kw is more than enough. We are the type who are careful and I never wanted to run a heater in July to load the generator. The water heater and charger are the primary draws and that is less than 20 amps when fully used. I will look into a Northern lights. I will also solicit opinions from a couple of yards I respect.
