If it really makes you feel better to write crap like this because I
corrected you, then have fun. I published no "preachments" about
anyone's child's life. I corrected a misstatement about who was
donating money to HSOF and made no judgements about anything. Period.
If I heeded "those of us with experience," which I guess is supposed
to mean you, I would now be thinking that the Bill and Melinda Gates
Foundation funded this school, which they didn't.

Good work, Frank. We'll make a Philadelphia public-school parent out

Speaking as a parent who is already walking this walk, I'm telling
you the system is complicated. I'm telling you anyone who says it's
simple -- is simple!
I can't tell you the details without tedious research I'm not paid
to do (that's why I encourage you to do this work, because you seem
to have time on your hands). But if you don't do this work, there's
no reason to believe anything you write makes sense on this subject.
I've been required to study a deluge of information on the School
District for years, because I'm a parent. This is a late and amateur
interest of Frank's at best, because you're not a parent. I
encourage you, and everyone else on UC-list, to spend at least a
dozen hours learning what we parents have had to study, before you
publish your preachments on our children's lives. If you haven't
done our job, you won't figure it out through google. Heed those of
us with experience.

I'll pass but if you would like to do that research yourself, you
might start here:

or here:
