CM6631...... I'm not surprised. I still haven't seen a user report of the CMedia chipset working under Linux. I think it may still be a chipset to avoid if you intend to use it with Linux. ISTR, that the CMedia datasheet suggests that CM6631 should work in UAC1 mode with the "standard" Linux snd-usb-audio driver, but that UAC2 was only "supported" on Window$/Mac with their proprietary driver. Which DAC do you have with the CM6631?
