Hi Soundcheck, Why not just get the Cubox or the new Cubox-i?
I've my Cubox running MPD, LMS and Squeezelite. LMS+Squeezelite give the best sound. The upcoming Cubox-i only costs $50 (w/o PSU) and it has a 1GHz single core CPU (same as the one used in Wandboard) and 512MB of RAM.
