Sure. I know that feeling. But I'm more aware of my limitations, now
that I'm getting older. I'm still having nightmares about the 5x 21st
Maida Reg boards I populated, back to back, last year. I swore after
that I'd stay the hell away from anything that reqd SMD soldering. I
couldn't see straight and had a headache for 2 days afterwards.
Cross-eyed and couldn't focus, after I spent so much time concentrating
so hard through optics!

Yep. That's what I do. I have a lowly 1GB or 2GB card that I used for
many years in a mobile phone. Use that for uboot and a boot partition,
with a SSD, on my day-to-day F19 WB Quad. No need to want a 16GB Class
10 SDCARD if you're just going to use it for boot. Anything will do. ;)
