I can stream 384kHz sample rate material and DSD128 via USB to the RPi2
without any clicks/pops. I use Ethernet to connect to the Pi.
With PCM, I find this only works well for FLAC, ALAC has occasional
dropouts. I have the LMS transcode all the lossless stuff to FLAC for
this reason.

RPi is another matter, too slow for the 384kHz material under the same
circumstances.
