The RPi output over USB is bit perfect otherwise streaming encapsulated
DSD over PCM using DoP will fail. (This real DSD not the PCM converted
stuff from PlayDSD and such).

Having said that, I have clicks and pops from the single core RPi
without overclocking, the quad core RPi2 is much better with almost no
clicks playing ALAC and none at all with FLAC playing back 24bit DXD
tracks @352kHz. RPi2 with PicorePlayer will also playback doublerate DSD
(DSD2x/DSD128) without breaking a sweat, zero dropouts.

My compliments to the PicorePlayer developers (Steen and Greg) for an
excellent effort
